Donald Trump is still trying to create social media profiles, and these platforms are still saying, “Aht! Aht! Not today.”
On Thursday, the former President decided to create another twitter account for his blog. Twitter handle “@DJTDesk” populated on Twitter but was quickly deleted.
In the bio, the account stated it would be featuring “Posts copied from Save America on behalf of the 45th POTUS; Originally composed via DonaldJTrump/Desk.”
A Twitter spokesperson told NBC news, “As stated in our ban evasion policy, we’ll take enforcement action on accounts whose apparent intent is to replace or promote content affiliated with a suspended account.”
While the account may have been in support of Donald Trump, Jason Miller, a spokesman for Trump, told NBC News that “the account was not set up by, or with the permission of, anyone affiliated with the former president.”
This comes days after Trump launched “From the Desk of Donald J. Trump,” a site that post comments, images and videos on his DonaldJTrump.com website, and that allowed people to share that content themselves on social media, NBC News reports.
The website also contains statements from Trump, since being banned from social media platforms.
As you know, this comes a day after Facebook upheld their ban on Donald Trump’s account.
If you recall, Donald Trump was banned after the Capitol riots where he faced impeachment, due to many believing that he incited the riot that took place.
